You could be forgiven to think I am way off topic.  I realise this is a business blog, however it brings to light the cooperative nature of giving with value, how this applies in Social Media Marketing.   I could not help but be consciously aware of what these people must be going through.  Its all about our Humanity and our awareness of what is happening on our planet and raising conscious levels.

Haiti has never had the optimal situation, now even more so they are in Desperation & despair.  Next we see Chille also is under catatropshe, the government declaring state of emergency.  Now I hear that Hawaii maybe next.  Everyone is talking about it on every media available.

I could not help but feel I had to use my talents to share what I know this is creating, as we are mostly online everyone seems to have access to computers now days.  This is part of our Social Media Revolution in my eyes. It’s humans interacting and bringing together that awareness.  Using
their talents the best they know how to create a better place for us all.  Well my talent is Social Media Marketing, so to me writing this down has power.  Looking over Twitter and Face book you can see the strength in numbers, you can see the real hold on Social Media. You can see the new gadgets are not being as noticed by what is happening in our World.  We have many humans all over the world wanting to share, wanting to get help. Texting via phones, twitter, face book whatever they get their hands on to share. We have people dedicating their time to share how they donated & support Haiti.  We have others sharing the news and video clips on news footage.  Someone In New Zealand can see the latest updates from the USA.

What I can see emerging is what is showing the strength with Social Media.  People from different nationalities, languages, life styles sharing in one message with Social Media. It has instead of putting walls up had the walls come down and its an open field of topic.  It is proving that a group of dedicated people can make a difference.  You do not need money to be a Socially Conscious.  Different places and people have their strengths.

Lets look at this.  Joe bloggs down the road from Haiti sells beds. So he sends them to Haiti, that is using his strength.  Frank over in India makes the best blankets, he uses his knowledge and strength in business to give this resource desperately needed.  It could be an electrician getting back power or a aid worker getting them hot food to Haiti, it all helps.  They both found how they can help in their power while operating their businesses.  Rock Stars have made a song already raising awareness. This is Social Entrepreneurs using their talents.

This is a very wise thing to do with the attention going there.   Making us all feel if no where near the disaster we are so fortunate, what can we do we ask ourselves?  What these  people can know by what media is doing is their is a whole world caring what is happening, a whole world wanting to see them getting help.  We do not want them going through this, however one person can make a difference with a huge team of people.  This is where group action and power of the people will come to play.  Now what we need is more knowing how to use this effectively.  That is why when a group makes this accessible, it creates a synergy and a great unity.  Haiti has done a positive outcome in my eyes.  It has everyone talking, it has people from all over the world finding the one common thread.  Its the conversation that holds power.  Even if its sending love, people care and they are saying so or sending a donation.  If a company wants to have media attraction right now, the only way I see this happening while everyone is worried about these people is to get involved, share their strengths and do what they can do to help.  It reminds me of a simple Law spoken to me by my friend Tetka Rhu today.  Her  insight explains this best.

It is creating a way for those to share their strengths, goods, services for a cause and to give effectively, how this is happening and strengthening is through Social Media Marketing.  Only those using it effectively are getting this in a meanigful way.  No room for doing it halfheartedly, it’s seen by everyone.  So it really means to me, whatever you have to say you need to get your message out in the most effective way.  For you using Social Media, use it correctly learn the style so you can be heard.   I am reminded of a group of singers, using youtube and fun space, using media effectively.

For those of us in other Countries, we can feel good that we are sharing and using our talents to the best of our ability, bringing about awareness at least.   It does not matter if one is poor or rich there is no boundary.  Letting these people know they are not going through this alone, there are people watching from the sidelines showing their support however best they can.  This is what matters.

I would love to hear your thoughts, to me this is why I wrote today.

Many do not think the word integrity would come into discussion in my blog about marketing etc…well its very important to me.

I was faced with a situation recently, let me share.

I have this product I use, it is the best on the market. It does keyword analysis, seo search, content search, publishing content and more. It’s an extroadinary piece of software.

I spoke with someone how they would not sell this item, they would speak about a lesser product for only one reason. They made a commission (affiliate cut) out of this product.

Things like this really peeve me off. I would not sell a lesser product for the sake of a few measly bucks, to me I want to be known as a person of word, quality and integrity. The most stupid part of this story is that “someone” uses the tool I use.

So does it come down to the money or is your integrity worth more than a few measly bucks. For me my integrity was worth more but it surely makes you think does it not.

There is an extremely good reason I choose this Template!

If you do not like the color (red) I have picked for the site, go ahead and change it now.  Yes you can have Aqua, Autumn, Prairie or Satin which is what I call red.

I am the sort of person that knows everyone is different and it does not offend me at all if you change the colour while your here.

You see, I see websites daily by the hundreds.  No site phases me, I know others also are like this, you get to the point only those that are different hugely make you look twice.  You look twice if you see someone that is doing something fun or interesting or works in your niche.

So go ahead, change the colour I do not mind in the least.

Today was one of those days for me.  I have had the most amazing opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself, yet be part of that wheel turning and its only just the beginning.

Let me explain in summary: 2 Weeks ago, I was motioned to Join a group through email (as you do) and out of curiosity and me just wanting to know it all, I went.  The group was at SocialTraffic I immediately was invited to meet others, share my thoughts on Social Media and so on.  Now we all know Social Media is nothing new, but the way this has evolved with this group is nothing short of amazing.

Here we now have in Place a Group on Facebook of over 1800 people in this short time.  Just look over the conversations, don’t take my word for it its just pumping.  After all the other organizations out there and all the MLM and affiliate programs there it can be so informal and unfocused.  Having such excitement amongst the Marketing Value, systems but taking it from a dimension that you need to learn and can hear one message.

Then imagine, you want to learn a particular skill, you devote time to learn this and by your way of saying thankyou for this knowledge, you share the Event, which right now is Earth day

This is why I am excited, also the reason I am sharing this with you today.  If you need to get up to speed with Social Media with cutting edge systems and training, you are in for a treat today and your eyes are about to be opened fully to this wonderful part of the Internet World.

So yes, I am excited, I am not sure I have been this excited about anything for so so long.
