Creating a Twitter Background masterpiece.

Written by Lisa on June 22, 2009 – 11:32 pm -

Being Professional is important, this continues into your Twitter Presenting.

Presenting your Twitter is definately a value to you spending a little time sharing

yourself how you want others to see you.

If you want to be seen as funky, you want a funky page. If you want a professional

page you would like to go after something clean lined and professional looking.  Some

companies already have logos they can implement to get a great profile going.

A good profile is always a great way to start on any site, Twitter is no different.  Upon

upgrading my Twitter page I came across many tools to assist, thinking that a few

sites looked like they needing some sprucing up, thought I would share my research

this evening so you can create new hot looking Templates for your Twitter profile.

Here are my top 7 Chosen:

Twitter Backgrounds

Twitbacks  (this one I used as my pc let it)

MyTweetspace

Freetwitterdesigner (my favourite but would not work on my pc)

Twitter Images

Pretty Tweet

Artweet

I may change my profile about 100 times this week playing with these new resources

I found, I just cannot help myself when I find new gimmicks to play with.  Oh dear I

may have to be boring and get some work done, but now at least I shared and you can

go and have fun with these new list of Background tools.

Make it Beautiful!

Google Friend Connect

Written by Lisa on April 29, 2009 – 1:05 pm -

I have to quietly admit something here and now, I love technology when it has a great idea.

Google Friend Connect” is coming ahead leaps and bounds, of course technology like this

I must try out for myself.  I get a little suspicious when someone promotes something just

to get a sign up so My next process was what does it do?

Saying this, I also must add while I am testing this out on the site right here, I have seen

increases that cannot be ignored.  Being a skeptic or testing helps to prove a tools viability

so I believe this is the right way to deal with technology.  The activity on my site is increasing

and that helps my business, so yes its staying.

Lets see what it can do!

Is it free?  Yes, its installed in a file specific to you.

What can it do was my first reaction?

Its integrated with the following Google Applications:

Gmail

Latitude

Blogger Accounts

Wordpress Acounts

Documents

It is compatible also With Twitter that was a huge bonus for Targetting the right people.

Its all about reaching the auidence you want, so that was of value to me.  Also getting

started was extremely easy with Roaming Heads.

I can join everything with my gmail account, so it keeps it simple.  Gmail is my open Id.

Then those new to this application can do it, its just a little bit of tweaking and doing a

profile that is about you.  Using your business name or your real name can both be of

benefit.  I did realise with this, that I could of chosen a better gmail name, so its a work

in progress and I will keep reporting about this new Technology.

I will also Update the list at Squidoo on the Benefits of Google friend connect as developments

are obtained.

Top 6 Pinging Services Around(+57 more)

One of the Joys of Marketing is knowing how you Can make your Content Go one step further but also getting more exposure.  Pinging is one tool that does this one task.

For Instance, many marketers are bloggers (the wise ones) and we use a weblog to get some crucial bits of info out. To spread it more we use pinging.  Its only natural we wish to be recognised for giving out the content and our brains given some kudos for our treachery on some topics and getting to the heart of what Marketing is doing and the answers that do work instead of a lamo’s (which I call those half-hearted and going through others work).  So we use Pinging to get our word out on this topic, trying our best to use great anchor text where ever we can.

Ok Just quickly “Why do we Ping?”.

Simple, its lets the engines know we have fresh content. Only fresh content is looked over, so you are doing your article, blog, services or pictures a great service and faster reaction times.  Yes there is fancy jargon but I have proven many times its worth doing, thats all I need.

The Pingers are part of the Exclusive Service that is Free, but well & truly a worthy url to keep on yoru bookmarks, I have even gone to the extent of Creating a toolbar just so others know this.
