I have recently had an experience which has stirred me to share my thoughts on starting a business.

When Starting a Home Business Online the Searches that come up just Under Business Start-ups are products to buy to solve your problem of finding that business. Now my gripe with all this is not a reflection on the products, some of the products are essential but YOU need to really think what type of business you are interested in.

Here are some questions:

1. How many hours can you work?
2. How can you be paid?
3. Do you want to be paid Monthly, daily, right away?
4. Is the business Secure?
5. What skills do you require to learn?
6. What is an essential Tool base for accomplishing tasks?
7. How will you market your business once started?

Now it is essential you find out what you are good at, what you want to do with your time online and what you need.  Its not about searching for a specific word its about realising what it takes to maintain this business and what you will need to spend on.

For Instance, Every business will maintain a list in some way, many of the businesses you can join on start-up will be feeding their own business building, not yours.  Its alright to join lists and get information but until you have decided exactly which direction you are going in, do not spend right away.

Starting a Home Business Online can be based on Learning a New skill or developing a skill you already have to a market, then realising how to do this research and get results.  Also its very important to only join Newsletters and get information that is going to support you on your quest.  There will always be someone that will want you to buy there product or do it there way, but think about long term and what is best for you and your situation.

I really must emphasis a thought to action is Required, Know yourself. Know what you precisely need to Fullfill your desire to work at home.  Do you dislike the internet?  Well you can market your business offline, there are no barriers at all but you must consider a way to get an online presence eventually as its a very good tool for communication, getting your message out over distance, so how will you acheive this?

I call upon an Action Plan to get organised, this in itself will give you an added advantage going through many types of places that offer many wants or needs.  When you realise what you need you will be more empowered on your journey.

Now how do you find out what you need?

Well remember the questions we just pondered!  Lets go into this.

1. How many hours can you work?

This will determine how to organize your time.  You will realize if its a part-time business that you will remain strategic.  You will take your time to find that right business.

1. How can you be paid?

Some Countries cannot use the same providers or you may have different circumstances.  Before you join, always, always check the FAQ’s never ever sign up to something without doing this one key task.  You will realise the value when you look at this and realise you can be paid or it will not work out for you.  Also you will realise how far a reach the product will have, as this is determined by payment providers.  For Instance some people cannot use Paypal easily in there country, if this is the only way to be paid, you wil have to check which countries can use it easily.  USA, Canada, Uk are fine and so are some smaller.  But not all of them.

1. Do you want to be paid Monthly, daily, right away?

Some businesses will pay differently if you do not want to wait, read the FAQ’s to see how you recieve the payments.  If there is no FAQ’s do not join, you do not know what your signing up to.  Also if you want to be paid directly you options will be looking in the fields of Affiliate Marketing or Direct systems.

1. Is the business Secure?

Checking the “Who is” Database on a site will tell you some things.  Who owns the domain!  Which country.  Where is the business located?   Thsi can also tell you how long they have registered for, if only registered for under a year, its a great way to tell if its a scam. Scam sites quite often use limited Registration times.  Also you can ask the search engines this question, Is ___________ a scam?  you will get pages of answers.

The search on google, yahoo or msn is a valuable tool of information, use it as a tool for information.  Treat this tool like your asking a friend a question you will get some astounding results.  Test support, send them a question see if you get a reply.  This is a good way to confirm if it has good service.

1. What skills do you require to learn?

This will keep your Mind realistic.  Many are of the thought, sign up make money and thats how easy it is. The truth is it takes years to perfection and then the internet is evolving.  I would not say this to scare you but merely point out you may need 6 weeks to learn writing.  Maybe you will need time to learn a Autoresponder.  If your not Computer literate you may need time to learn basic skills like copy and paste. All is achievable and very doable but this will keep you being realistic and realising there is a learning curve to happen.  Even University courses do not teach hands on, what you learn from those that do is of high value on the internet.  So learn from those that really are proving their successes.  Make sure they use those tools.  Be very very wary if they endorse a product and do not use it themselves.

1. What is an essential Tool base for accomplishing tasks?

Depending on what yoru doing, some companies willhave everything you need.  But what you must realise is most will give you a duplicate Website which is an affiliate website.  They do not tell you your own domain with your very own site is the best way to go.  This could even be a splash page ( a single page), but it should be branded to you.  Its very rare for me to find a good follow through system with a company, but if they do look closer and test it first.  It is going to be your time to build this business, you want it building you not a company so take this to heart please.

1. How will you market your business once started?

Will you use Offline or Online.  If your using Online, what do you know?  If you know friendly behavior with some manners you will be making a good start.  You will need to learn some basic Html or get a great editor as some places you write will need this.  A great editor that is free would be NVU, there is many classes and information available.  This is one tool if your marketing online and new to it, is great to learn.

I know its exciting and I would never take that away from you but your Plan of action is your key to success, it can be the making or breaking of your new Online Business.

As you notice, I enjoy my blog.  Its nicely set up on a Domain, its indexed by search engines and its quite a neat little place for everything about Lisa Lomas and what I know.

Now I have come across many who tend not to blog, I can only think, blogging is hard for them for some reason or sheer laziness.

Another Lady spoke to me and said “Just what is a blog”. My Definition is a Fancy Journal online on one specific topic preferably.  It can hold all your links of value, photos, articles and be a great place for storage.

One other part I have not mentioned till now is if your starting out with no budget for a business start-up Making any sort of site, a blog will give you this option.  You can go to Blogger which is a google product or Wordpressfree blog they will give you a .  If you like the way I do it, well you buy a domain name, you get some hosting that has fantastico (easy to install then) and off you go.  I am not going to get into Cpanel but what you need to take from this article is blogging can be a resource for absolutely anything, search any topic online and you will take notice if you search like so.

Blog: (your topic)

This search in an engine will bring up all blogs in that Niche.  Niche is a fancy way to say one area you write about, for instance it could be business, accounting, club programs, mail lists, advertising, comics, really there is no limit.

I subscribe to blogs, the collection is awesome.  Everyone has the option to build there own site add some little ads that gain a revenue subtly most of the time and write about what they want to write on.

In a technical sense, the Business fields are attracted to the blog as a means of media, also creating a very search engine friendly page.  You can add video, graphics, absolutely most things.

The only limit is your imagination.

Now some would say finding content is the battle they cannot deal with, well where are you right now, your on a computer somewhere in the world, what does it have?  Google, yahoo, msn.  These are tools for writing, you cannot copy others work but you can gain ideas, remember our search on google how we searched just blogs, you can do this with anything, forums, sites, membership sites, whichever takes your fancy and brings up relevant information.

The only reason I can see now for not blogging, is your making way to much money already, you cannot do it and don’t want to, you hate writing, other than that I say get off your butts and get a blog, it will help your business, hobby or club and once you get used to it, could be a heck of a lot of fun.

I have held of with my review on Market Samauri, but now I feel confidient in explaining this almighty marketing tool.

To me this is the Marketing Tool of the Century and I would say if you make money on the Internet or use keywords, market research, evaluation or any of those types of Information your an absolute fool not to get a try of it.  This is for Newbies, Successful Entrepreneurs who ever can benefit from great research and deeper marketing.

So why do I say this?

Well for One the Keyword Research is Complex, Integrated, Full of sequences that can drive the most divine deep long rooted keywords. Previously long tail for me if I was not using Adsense was hard, not any more, I am blown away with their technology.

Those of you that know me know I only spit out words that make sense, that are true to form and absolutely Candid. (maybe corse but true)

So what you say what else does it do? Well here is where I took my big learning curve.

Ok so I have Made a business out of this tool a Niche Combo, I can go through upon a Business Set-up Faze, grab the keywords, see who I would be competiting with, check the interest levels online, find anything I need in the way of research through blogs, enzine articles, Adsense, Analyze traffic volumes, see which keywords not best to go for, see which are lame. Use SEO digger on all projects and so on and so on.

For a start I found it difficult to Navigate, but I was lucky enough to have this part and parcel of Ed Dales Training Online to prove the 30 Day Challenge Value to me in many more ways than one cool tool I included Guru bobs Video with Keyword Research Below.  (by the way there are so many videos on this you will enjoy the content & value)

As always, evaluate it for yourself, its helped me tremendously in my Marketing Research but never take my word for it, you research it yourself, see if it gives you the edge I recieved, I am very bias now.
